Fayetta M. Royse

Fayetta M. Royse, 87, died Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Charleston. Born in Greenup, KY, to the late Clyde and Gertrude McCallister. Fayetta worked as a dry cleaning clerk in Virginia and North Carolina for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, reading the bible daily, watching her game shows, and gospel music. She was an active member of her church, Chapperell Baptist Church and will be remembered for her devotion to her family. Fayetta is survived by her sons, Gary Royse and wife Joan of Chesapeake VA, Wayne Royse and wife Christine of Waterford VA; her daughter, Paula Bodner and husband Jack of Goose Creek; brothers, Denver and Cline McCallister; grandchildren, Jason Shealey, Kimberly Howell, Gary Eugene Royse, Ronnie Royse, Anthony Royse, Cheryl Skinner, Tim Ashley, Michael Sprague, Paul Eric Royse, Dawn Clark, Kevin Royse, and Tommy Bodner; 35 great grandchildren and four great great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Ruby Booten. She is predeceased by her husband Paul E. Royse; son, Michael Royse, and her siblings. All services will be private.
