Faith Leigh Dutton, 16, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered the Gates of Heaven on Friday, May 19, 2017.
She was born on December 10, 2000 in Honolulu, Hawaii to William David O'Brien and Shannon (Bigham) Dutton.
Faith was a bright, intellectual leader in her high school community. She was passionate about photography, writing, painting and an avid historian. Faith’s peers knew her as a confident, compassionate, inclusive, and genuine friend. She loved her brothers, enjoyed sharing family stories and ensuring the underdog won. Faith was sunshine in a room and had a contagious laughter. Her family will remember her as a loving daughter, sister, cousin, niece, granddaughter, and friend.
She is survived by her mother, Shannon Lee Dutton (Yaanis Golubeckis), of Mt. Pleasant, SC; father, William David O'Brien Dutton, of Daniel Island, SC; brothers, Abram Jackson and Micah O’Brien Dutton; and loving friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents.
The Celebration of Life Service will be on May 25, 2017 at 7:00 PM at The Church of the Holy Cross, 299 Seven Farms Drive, Daniel Island, South Carolina, 29492.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Wando High School, Attention Yearbook.
