Ezekiel David Denue, 23, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Born on December 11, 1998, in Charleston, SC, Ezekiel was the son of Myra Denue (Tully) and Justin Denue.
Ezekiel’s accomplishments are weighed on the impact he had on others. He was always one to make others laugh and would always lend a hand to those in need. Ezekiel, more commonly known as Zeke, would make friends with any stranger standing next to him with a kind smile and a funny story to tell. Ezekiel was a loving brother and son who lived for his younger sisters and his beloved son Abraham. He excelled at many trades and worked hard to bring himself toward a better future. Ezekiel’s life and legacy is a lesson in forgiveness. He was always the first to forgive and forget, live and let live, and call it water under the bridge. His relationship with his faith in Jesus allowed him to be kinder than most and bolder than most. Ezekiel was a true friend, trusted colleague, and crucial member to his family, and it is with faith that we live on, blessed to have known a truly lovely soul.
Ezekiel is preceded in death by his grandfather, Mickey Tully, cousin, Stephanie Breaux, and half-brother, Gabriel Seagraves.
Ezekiel is survived by his mother, Myra Denue, father, Justin Denue, son, Abraham Denue, spouse, Rency Denue, paternal grandfather, Bill Denue, step-paternal grandmother, Donna Denue, paternal grandmother, Laura Wright-Madden, step-paternal grandfather, Jeffrey Wright-Madden, maternal grandparents, Pam and John Maxlow, four sisters, Destiny Boyd, Electa Denue, Trinity Saenz, Arianna Seagraves, and two brothers, Sebastian Seagraves and Cain Seagraves. Zeke’s memory will also be cherished by his many surviving aunts and uncles.
