Evelyn Jane Strickland

Evelyn Jane Strickland, 75, of Summerville, SC passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. 

Born on April 6, 1949 in Ehrhardt, SC she was the daughter of the late Arthur Coggins and the late Gwendolyn Jones Coggins. 

She was a member of Ridge Baptist Church. She loved being with her friends and family. She found her greatest joy in making memories, laughing, shopping, Hershey Kisses, and her fur babies. Her life was dedicated to her home and family. 

Jane is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Arthur Coggins. 

Jane is survived by her husband, Rodney Strickland; her son, Brett Strickland (Theresa); her daughter, Shana Sitton (Brent); her grandchildren, Colby Buck, Cassidy Buck, Allison Sitton, Kelsey Strickland, and Zachary Sitton; and multiple great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 2:00PM - 3:00PM at Ridge Baptist Church, 2168 Ridge Church Rd., Summerville, SC 29486. 

The service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 3:00PM at Ridge Baptist Church, 2168 Ridge Church Rd., Summerville, SC 29486. The burial will be held at Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Summerville, SC. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ridge Baptist Church.
