Evelyn Mayfield Boudolf (Mayfield)

Evelyn Mayfield Boudolf, 90, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016. She was born on Thursday, March 25, 1926, in Columbia, SC, to the late Evie Bolton Mayfield and the late Walter Mayfield. Evelyn grew up in Columbia, SC, and moved to Charleston when she was 18 years old. She met her loving husband, Louis, and was happily married for 51 years. She retired as supervisor at the South Carolina State Employment Security Commission. She was a member of Ashley River Baptist Church. Evelyn enjoyed painting and spending time with her family. Her family will remember her as loving, kind and had a great sense of humor. Besides her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her loving husband, Louis Boudolf and her brother, John Mayfield. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Michele Mosier and husband, Ty; granddaughter, Jennifer Jones and husband, Jeromy and great-granddaughter, Jenna Jones of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by Elizabeth Katko and husband, Al, of Charleston, SC; Larry Boudolf and wife, Mary Ann, of James Island, SC and Chris Boudolf of Charleston, SC; grandchildren: Jennifer Bouton , Patty Walker, Steven Katko, Daniel Katko, Thomas Katko , Larry Boudolf, Jr., Michael Boudolf, Kristie Turbeville; ten great-grandchildren; cousin, Mildred Logan of Columbia, SC; nieces: Debbie Rogers of James Island, SC and Jean Barr of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and many extended family members and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 12:00 pm.
