Eugene Buenting

Eugene Buenting, 90, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was born on Thursday, April 22, 1926 in Waukegan, IL, son of the late Marie Haydam Buenting and the late Roy Henry Buenting. Besides his parents, Eugene is preceded in death by his loving wife, Claudia Marie Fennewald Buenting and his brother, Robert Buenting. He is survived by his five children and spouses; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2016, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel. Interment will be held privately in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
