Bacon lover, outdoorsman, homebuilder, husband, and father, Eric Matthew Diana, 39, of Goose Creek SC, peacefully left this earth on Monday, November 21, 2016. He was born June 12 1977, in Wausau, WI to his parents Andrew (Andy) and Diana Dunlap Diana. He graduated from Moon High School in Moon Township PA where he enjoyed playing the tuba and being a D.J. The Pennsylvania winters couldn’t stop Eric from riding his bike, even in 20 inches of snow. His strong work ethic was obvious as a teenager by cutting grass with his own used riding lawn mower, delivering newspapers, and pizza. Eric attended Lock Haven University in PA, however as life brought him to South Carolina, he also studied at Charleston Southern University, University of South Carolina and Trident Technical College. His hobbies include four wheeling, camping, building Legos with Matthew, gun and flashlight collecting, and being “Mr. Fix-itâ€. As much as he enjoyed his down-time, Eric loved being a true quality home builder and Director of Procurement for Beazer Homes. He made home buying a pleasure for his 650 + home owners in Charleston (some were even repeat buyers). His family will always remember Eric for his can-do attitude and tenacity. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Cristhiane Diana; six year old son, Matthew Joseph Diana; sisters, Rachel Diana (Anthony Cate) of Blacksburg, VA and Allison Diana-Tuten (Shannon Tuten) of Moore, SC; grandparents Genevie Diana and Dorothy Kabel; mother-in-law, Elzamar Sturkie; nephews and niece, Jacob, Nathaniel, and Lily-Anne, and his crazy beagle Maggie. A visitation will be held, Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Peace Presbyterian Church, 174 Londonderry Road, Goose Creek.
