Edwin P. Hahn, 95, of North Charleston, died May 21, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Philip and Edith Hahn and husband to the late Elizabeth Hahn. Ed served his country in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II. He retired as an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance Company. In addition he retired from Highlands County School District in Sebring, Florida in 1991. Ed enjoyed doing the New York Time Crosswords puzzles, playing his organ and ukulele, and painting landscape scenes. Ed was a member of the Irish Society, Knights of Columbus, The Sebring Elks Lodge and the Odd Fellows Walker Lodge #306. He is survived by his three children, Susan Bohm and husband Frank of North Charleston, SC, Judy Luff and husband Donald of Holden Beach, NC and Stephen Hahn and wife Patricia of Pottstown, PA, Daughter-in-Law Jenny Hahn of VA; grandchildren, Jennifer Weldy and husband Abe, Kimberly Overstreet and husband Brian, Kiersten Gordon and husband Brendan, Denise Murray Luff, Sean Murray Luff, Kyle Hahn and wife Karen, Stephanie Hahn, Ashleigh Hahn and Eric Hahn; great grandchildren, Burke Weldy, Reagan Weldy, Ryan Overstreet, Kelsey Overstreet , Kennedy Gordon, Harper Gordon, Cole Hahn, Ryan Hahn, Harrison Hahn and Jackson Ratcliff. Mr. Hahn was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Hahn, son, Kenneth Hahn and grandson, Ian Hahn. A memorial mass will be held June 12, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek.
