Eden Andrea Wright

Eden Andrea Wright, 56, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024. 

Born on January 16, 1968, in Saint Louis, MO, Eden was the daughter of Janice Brown Lewis and Carl Lewis. 

Eden was a fun, loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with family and being a mom. She loved the beach, horseback riding, dancing, and animals of all kinds, especially her Boxer, Roxy. Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween. She was an angel to many people, who brought love and light to this world. Eden’s vivacious smile and personality would lift the hearts of all who encountered her. The tenacious love she had for our Savior and her family will never fade. Her empathy and defense for all who struggled in this life will always serve as a reminder of what we should strive to embody. Those who knew her remember her best for her compassion. Her legacy is one of love. Our ethereal Eden will forever and always be etched in our hearts and we look forward to being reunited with her again. 

Eden is survived by her husband, Christopher Wright; daughter, Brittany Wright; son, Zachary Wright; parents, Carl Lewis and Janice Lewis; brother, Barret Lowe; sisters: Elyssia [Craig] Stratton, Brianna Brown, Jenny [Misi] Salelesi; sister-in-law, Jenny [Jason] Howland; and nieces and nephews: Kayla, Oceana, Aaryah, Maliha, London, Alea, Greyson, and Roman. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, West Ashley. The FUNERAL service will follow at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, West Ashley.
