Dylan Wyatt Parish Lashley, 20, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2019. He was born on March 25, 1999 in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Dylan served in the United States Air Force as a firefighter and received an associate’s degree from Middle Georgia State University. Dylan had a true servant’s heart, those who knew Dylan, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Although only 20 at the time of his death, Dylan affected many people in his lifetime. Dylan was a loving son and friend, with his awkward way of getting to know someone, it always made him so approachable to all that he came in contact with. Dylan also enjoyed animals, fishing, and spending time outdoors. You give him a good fire outside, family and a dog or three and to him it just didn’t get any better. More than anything Dylan loved God. One of the verses Dylan used to remind us of through times of trouble was, Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." We remember this as we remember Dylan today.
Dylan was preceded in death on his father’s side by grandmother, Carole Murphy and grandfather James Lashley. On his mother’s side by mother, Christel Dawn Tressler; by grandparents, Harry and Marion Parish; and cousin, Kelly Regans.
Dylan is survived on his father’s side by: Father and step-mother, Carl and Lisa Lashley; aunt, Sherry Lashley; siblings/step-siblings: Brandon Lashley, Joshua Lashley, Ronald Smith, Blayne Laures, Keeley Laures, and Dylan Laures.
On his mother’s side by: Step-father, Gary Tressler; aunt and uncles, Deanna and Richard Regans, Tanya and Robert Sells, Terry and Amanda Parish, Yvonne and Larry White; and by cousins, Cliff Regans, Mack and Haley Regans, Krystal and Coulbert Cate, Jessica Johnpeer, Emily Johnpeer; and numerous extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 2:00-3:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek, SC.
