Dylan Leon Fernandez

Dylan Leon Fernandez, 20, of West Ashley, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Born in Dubai, U.A.E on June 14, 1996, he is the son of Mr. Michael L. Fernandez and Mrs. Reena Mukherjee. Dylan was a natural athlete taking easily to a variety of sports, and excelled in basketball and represented his school in tennis. He graduated from West Ashley High School in 2014 and was continuing his education, eventually wanting to pursue a career in an avionics-related field. Dylan always had a twinkle in his eyes, enjoyed his family, and made many friends at school and through work at Bessinger's, the Early Bird Diner, Mex One, Hank's Seafood, and Miyabi Japanese Steakhouse. Dylan’s funeral/memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in his memory to Pet Helpers, at 1447 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
