Dorothy L. King (Clark)

Dorothy L. King, 99, of Mt. Pleasant, SC peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2016. “Dottie” was born on December 21, 1916, in St. Louis , Missouri to the late Mrs. Catherine Meier Clark and the late Herbert L. Clark. She was predeceased by her husband, William M. King. Dorothy loved Jesus and lived a good Christian life. She had a special affinity for animals and in particular her African Grey parrot, Rusty. Among her cherished friends are Hattie Nesbitt and Josephine “Jo” Dunne. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter and friend. A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM, Thursday, February 4th, at the Franke Home Chapel , 1885 Rifle Range Rd, Mt. Pleasant, SC.
