Donald Mervin Gramling, 68, of Moncks Corner, formerly of Northern Virginia, husband to Mary Jane Gramling, passed away December 16, 2013. Don was born April 7, 1945 in South Fork, PA, a son of the late Meredith W. Gramling and Etta Mae Dunmire Gramling. Don retired from the Smithsonian Institution as a Cabinet Maker. His hobbies included fishing, Nascar and going to the beach. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Don M. Gramling II (Little Don) and one brother, Wayne Gramling. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mary Jane Stoneburner Gramling of Moncks Corner; one son, Edward Gramling and his wife, Christi of Goose Creek; 4 daughters, Charlotte Rose of Rocky Mount, VA, JoAnn Grinnan of Stafford, VA, Kathleen Giuliano and her husband Ki of Leesburg, VA and Mary Lou Blue and her husband Mickey of Stafford, VA; 9 grandchildren, Christina Corbin, Jennifer Rose, Stephanie Jett, Ki Giuliano, Kolin Giuliano, Nicholas Giuliano, Cody Rose, Caitlin Gramling, and Jacob Gramling; 5 great grandchildren, Tyler Rose, Elle Jett, Garrett Conley, Bryson Giuliano and Zackery Rose; one brother, Evan Gramling and family; one sister Loretta Wallace and family; also Dilmon and Cathy Mayes and family, Godfrey and Pat Stoneburner and family and by many nieces and nephews and his best buddy, George Baker.
