Donald Lawrence Barrett
Born on November 10, 1955 in Durham, NC, he was the son of the late Dr. John Albert Barrett, Jr. and Helen Barrett .
Donald Barrett served in the US Army from December 6, 1972 until October 28, 1977. He also worked for the College of Charleston as the Electronic Technician for the Science Department for a little over 24 years.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James (Jim) Barrett.
Donald is survived by his sons, Matthew Barrett of Goose Creek, SC and Andrew Barrett (Aimee) of Summerville, SC; his granddaughter, Emma Barrett, daughter of Andrew Barrett; and his brothers, David Barrett and Michael Barrett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vietnam Veteran Memorial Foundation.
