Devin Paul Stanley

Devin Paul Stanley, 25, of Mt. Pleasant, SC joined the Angels in Heaven on Monday, January 16, 2017. He was born on Tuesday, April 30, 1991 in Hunterdon, NJ to Paula Moland Sasko and John Charles Stanley. Devin attended Wando High School, and later attended Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He enjoyed fishing, playing piano and guitar; was an avid pool player and loved spending time with friends and family. Devin had a God given talent of carpentry and landscaping and was the neighborhood “Handy Dude”. He recently partnered with his brother, Mike Stanley, in the business, Stanley Customs (contracting and home remodeling.) His family remembers him as a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his Mother, Paula Moland Sasko and her husband Jeffry Sasko, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Father, John Stanley, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; children, Ryan Stanley and William Stanley; sisters, Sarah Jane Sandor and Shea Stanley; brothers, Michael Stanley, Jake Fetchen, Johnathan Stanley, Ryan Stanley, Timothy Stanley, Sean Stanley, James Stanley and David Paquette; spouse, Elizabeth Schulken and her daughter, Ava Thorne; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Stanley and Betty Moland, and Thomas and Dorothea Stanley. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. A Funeral Service will be held at Seacoast Christian Community Church, 750 Long Point Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Michael Morris officiating. Reception to follow immediately at 204 Live Oak Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
