Denise (Coria) Salvador

Denise Salvador, 43, of Trenton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on Friday, October 15, 1971 in Trenton, NJ to Grace Sanchez and Eduardo Figueroa. Denise enjoyed photography, loving to capture each and every special moment. She enjoyed the holidays, and never missed the opportunity to celebrate. She loved cooking, traveling, drinking a hot cup of coffee, and most importantly, CLEANING. She had a special touch with children, and was known as the “baby whisperer”. Denise never met a stranger. She was the shining light in so many lives. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, Titi Mama, daughter, cousin, friend, and leader. She is survived by her husband, Antonio Coria, of Chicago, IL; daughter, Luz Miriam Morales and her husband, Carlos, of Villa Rica, GA; four stepchildren: Candice, Tony, Gabriel and Maranda Coria of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren: Lila, Ryker and Piper Coria of Chicago, IL; Carlos Andres and Alexander Wilson of Villa Rica, GA; her parents, Grace Sanchez and Eduardo Figueroa, of Añasco, Puerto Rico; one sister, Lissette Guadalupe and her husband, Roberto, of Charleston, SC; one brother, Eduardo Figueroa and his wife, Leslie, of Roswell, GA; her Uncle Wilson Sanchez of Athens, GA; two nieces: Natasha Denise Padin and Sasha Nichole Padin; one great niece, Jenavie Denise Rowell; one great nephew, Elijah Noel Rowell; and her very special faithful companion, Max. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2015, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel. A celebration of Denise’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel, with Rev. Ryan Lyles officiating.
