David Alfred Marsh Jr.

David A. Marsh, Jr., beloved son of Beth DeLorme Marsh, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 10, 2014. David was born on March 29, 1972, in Sumter, SC, at Shaw Air Force Base. He is survived by his mother, Beth Marsh, of Charleston, SC; his daughter, Eliza Daye Marsh of Harrodsburg, KY; his brother, James Pitts Marsh and his wife, Jennifer, of Charleston, SC; his father, David A. Marsh, Sr. and his wife, Carolyn, of Spotsylvania, VA; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. David was a graduate of Middleton High School and attended Newberry College and Trident Technical College. David was devoted to his daughter, Eliza. She was the love of his life. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, in the chapel of McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 2501 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, SC 29414.
