Darrell Junior Begley, 80, of Charleston, predeceased by his wife Ola Faye Begley on May 4, 2018, entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Born on April 11, 1941 in Hyden, KY, Darrell was a son of the late Anna Mae Colson and Jesse Begley.
Darrell was an amazing musician and worked as an engineer for the James Island Fire Department. He enjoyed the outdoors, music, westerns and spending time with his family .
Darrell is survived by his daughters, Sharon Cox, Lisa Begley and Kimberly Lowe of Charleston, SC, grandchildren, Ashley Goins, Nikki Bear (Brian), Chris Lowe, Jordan Lowe (Brooke) and Dillon Bottoms, great grandchildren Cameron, Brooklyn, Kaiden, Leland and Iris; sisters, Connie Frost (Buddy) and Sue Frost, brothers, Larry Begley, Ron Begley and Dwight Begley.
The family will receive friends at the graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412 on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2PM.
