Dara Lynn Robinson

Dara Lynn Robinson, 66, of Moncks Corner, SC passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024.

Born on August 2, 1958 in Downey, CA, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Dunlap and the late Darrell Robinson.

Dara was most happy tending to her gardens and enjoying nature. A native of southern California, she lived in various locations across the state as well as Washington, Rhode Island, and Virginia before settling in South Carolina. She loved nature, collecting sand from the beaches, and collecting rocks from the various places she visited that held special meaning to her. She enjoyed them so much it became a habit for her daughters, grandchildren, and friends to find the prettiest shells or rocks for her to add to her collection. She loved to nurture life, growing vegetables, fruits, and plants and piddling around her garden was the favorite part of her day. 

She was also incredibly kind and genuinely cared for everyone she met. She was the perfect amount of loving and silly, enjoying the lighter, brighter side of life and sharing her positivity with her family, extended family, and friends. She laughed at dumb jokes and could be the butt of some teasing, but was always able to laugh at her own expense. She brought joy to everyone around her and those who knew her will miss the light and laughter she brought to everyone around her.

Dara is preceded in death by her parents.

Dara is survived by her daughters, Emily Reckas, Kayla Reckas, and Shana Conjurski; her husband, Chris; her seven grandchildren, Phoebe, Preston, Carissa, Chandler, Gavin, Evelyn, and CJ; and her sister, Brenda Flores.
