Danielle Aviles, 45 of Summerville, peacefully passed away on December 7, 2015. She was born May 17, 1970 in Wichita Falls, TX to Joe Dominick Aviles and Angie Crown. Dani graduated from Friendly High School in Maryland and served six years in the United States Navy. Charleston became her home in the early 2000’s. She immediately planted her roots in Summerville and made a lot of friends. She most recently bartended at Fast Break in Summerville and enjoyed shooting pool with her APA team members. Her passions include the Dallas Cowboys, but mostly her fur babies Persephone (deceased), Hades, and most recently Nyx. She was known to be a simple woman with a great heart. Her family and friends will deeply miss her. Survivors include her father Joe Aviles, stepmother Amy of Summerville; mother Angie Crown of Florida; sister Jennifer Trunnell, brother-in-law Charles, and their children Kaitlin and Joseph Berry of Summerville. She is predeceased by her grandmother Sofia Marrero of Brandon, Florida, whom she loved fiercely. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. A short prayer service will begin at 2:00 pm In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to any local animal shelters, specifically for Pit Bull Rescues, if possible.
