Daniel F. Crimmins, 55, of Charleston, SC and husband of Marie Bouton McGuirk, died on Monday, February 4, 2019.
Dan was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Daniel F. Crimmins and Nancy Stavola Crimmins. He was a Graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts. Dan worked for many years at Bank of America in Massachusetts and here in Charleston at Woodforest Bank. Dan and his wife moved to Charleston 10 years ago from Northborough, Massachusetts. They loved living in their favorite vacation spot, and walking their dogs on Sullivan's Island.
He loved all Boston sports and sports in general, especially the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He also loved all music and he loved cranking up his car radio. He enjoyed attending concerts and Stingrays hockey with his daughter Jordan and taking her shopping.
Dan is survived by his wife, soulmate and best friend, Marie Bouton McGuirk; three sons: Bryan, Michael and Kyle Crimmins; a daughter, Jordan Crimmins; three step children: Michael, Madison and Morganne McGuirk; his mother, Nancy Stavola Crimmins; a brother, Paul Crimmins; a sister, Susan Crimmins and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his rescue Dachshunds, including Walter, to whom he served as a seeing eye human.
Dan was predeceased by his father, Daniel F. Crimmins, Sr. and a sister, Deborah Crimmins.

A Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Dan’s life will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 56 Center St, Folly Beach, SC 29439.
