Dale Guyton

Dale Guyton, 79 of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday January 23, 2024.

Born on September 8, 1944, in Charleston, SC she was the daughter of (the late) Dorthy L Parker (Presnell) and Marion A Parker.

Dale was best known for her "miracle work" by her customers as the owner of Dale's Alterations. 

Dale is preceded in death by her parents and middle daughter Harriet Cartin. She is survived by her loving husband, Jessie Guyton, her daughters Penelope Ransom (Kevin) and Renee Ochoa (Carlos), her brother James Parker (Greta), a granddaughter and two great-granddaughters. 

The family will receive friends and loved ones at 1:00 pm, Saturday January 27, 2024, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 347 Folly Road Charleston SC.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, also at McAlister-Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
