Cynthia Renee Waters

Cynthia Renee Waters, 68 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Born on August 28, 1956 in Corona, California, she was a daughter of the late Christine Cook Sims and Jasper Sims.

Cynthia served in the Navy for 4 years and trained pilots how to survive in the event of a sea crash. She loved to read any kind of books, especially history books. Most of all, she loved God and her family. Her dog, Maggie was the light of her life.

As well as being preceded in death by her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Waters, and her younger sister, Deanna.

Cynthia is survived by her sister, Jackie Chapman; her brother-in-law, Dennis Chapman; her nephew, Joshua Russell and 3 nieces.

The family will have a private service.
