Corey James Ireland

Corey James Ireland, 32, of Cordesville, ascended into heaven on August 3, 2015. He was born in Charleston, on July 13, 1983 to his parents, Roxy McCoon and the late Howard Womack. Corey graduated from Fort Dorchester High School and later became a Labor Foreman for Southern Pan Services (SPS). He loved NASCAR races, going fishing, and spending time with his family. Corey and his wife recently had a baby boy, who quickly became the center of his life. Corey will be loved and missed by anyone who met him. He is survived by his wife of almost four years, Ashley Ireland; son, Corey Ireland Jr. both of Cordesville; mother, Roxy McCoon of Moncks Corner; sister, Shawna Ireland of Asheville, NC; grandfather, Stuart McCoon of Huger; father in law and mother in law Doug and Timmy Rohe of Goose Creek; and many extended family members. A memorial service for Corey will be held at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be submitted to www.gofundme.com/f78zzh9688.
