Christopher Thomas Martin

Christopher Thomas Martin, age 30, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Chris was born July 8, 1983 in Nashville, TN, son of William Martin of Stafford, VA, and Carolyn and her husband, Randy Allen, of White House, TN. He served in the United States Army as a medic and received military honors for his time in Iraq. He was uniquely creative and had a passion for the arts. He enjoyed going to the gun range and playing with his Xbox. He loved children and was very close to his nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is survived by his brother, Matthew Ryan Martin and his wife, Melissa Martin, of Summerville; his nieces and nephews: Harley Antal, Hannah Martin, Jesse Martin, Jack Martin, and Sullivan Martin; his uncle, Jeffrey 'Chip' Holt, of Charleston and his aunt Holly Holt, of Jacksonville, FL; and many devoted friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014, at 2:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.
