Christine Elizabeth Wenthe

Christine Elizabeth Wenthe, 75 of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Born on May 27, 1948 in New York, NY, Christine was a daughter of the late Marie Bagnasco (Carroll) and Edward Carroll.  Christine graduated from the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, NY, in 1969. Regarded by many as “the classiest and most elegant woman they knew”, Christine was an avid seamstress, adoring mother and loving wife.  Christine is preceded in death by her mother Marie Bagnasco (Carroll) and her father, Edward Carroll.Christine is survived by her husband, George Wenthe, four children, Mathew, Anne, Alex, and Jane, and six grandchildren, Ryan, Ben, Matilda, Jacob, George and Oliver. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at www.action.lung.org
