Family is deeply saddened and shocked by the sudden death of Mrs. Cheryl Oswald of Blythewood, SC on October 28, 2024. Cheryl was born in Columbia, SC, to Emma and Ransom Jackson.
After a long career at Fruit of the Loom with her husband by her side her retirement was spent enjoying sunsets and reading her Bible. Beloved and cherished by all who knew her and maybe shared a plate of the best ham in the world and a good cup of coffee late at night. Food was definitely one of her many love languages. But the obsessive love for her children, grandchildren, late husband and family will never be surpassed. And their deep infatuation for her will never fade. We ask that you remember her lovingly with laughter and tears for all her laughter and tears. Best Mama ever!
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Brumby Oswald; brothers, Harvey Lee Jackson and Larry Jackson; her sisters, Udean Cavanaugh, Authean Shelly, Desiree Harrelson, and Agatha Jackie Rady; she leaves behind her children, Billy (Anna) Watts, Wanda (Mark) Mitchell, Teresa (Mark) Belger, Susan Watts, Emma Oswald, Cammie Oswald, Sam Oswald, Ransel Oswald and James Oswald; her sister, Shala (Jerry) Tucker; her grandchildren, Mark Belger Jr. (Kristina), David Belger, Christian Mitchell, Tabitha Xavier, Thomas Xavier, Makayla Xavier, Angela Watts; and great-grandchildren, Aurora Belger, Tiana Austin, Elijah Peters, Chloe Doctor, Liam Belger, Weslynn Xavier and Alla Mae Doctor.
