Cheryl Lynn Williams (Malecha)

Cheryl Lynn Williams, 51, of Cross, died January 3, 2015. Born in Key West, FL, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Barbara Malecha and wife to Donald Williams. Cheryl graduated from Goose Creek High School in 1981, where she was a bus driver and attended North Greenville University. She worked as a paramedic with Dorchester County EMS and a dispatcher with Charleston County. Cheryl enjoyed knitting with her daughter, watching wrestling, riding the golf cart and fishing. She is survived by her husband of twenty five years, Donald Williams; three childrens, Ashton Williams and Abigayle Williams, both of Cross and Jessica Bishop and husband Karl of Hampton; grandchild, Brantley Bishop; brother, Allen Malecha of Miami, FL; sister, Tracy Ann Powell and husband Mark of Donalds. Cheryl also leaves behind her cat, “Nala”. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL.
