Cheryl Lynn McGrew

July 23, 1947 — January 18, 2014

Cheryl Lynn McGrew, 66, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away January 18, 2014. Born in Pittsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Constance Fitzwilliams Full. Cheryl retired from Wal-Mart as a Department Manager after twenty eight years of service and also worked at Unity Baptist Academy. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. McGrew enjoyed traveling, she was a avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Daniel McGrew, Sr.; two daughters, Kelly Coleman and husband Brian, Sr. of Summerville and Connie Chapman and husband Jeff of Lexington; son, Daniel McGrew, Jr. of Charleston; six grandchildren, Brandon McGrew, Brian Coleman, Jr., Tanner Coleman, Hunter Coleman, Bailey McGrew and Logan McGrew; two brothers, Ronald E. Full and wife Joanie of Charleston and William K. Full and wife Lisa of Port Saint Lucie, FL; sister, Denise Lowery and husband Jim of Goose Creek. Cheryl is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in Unity Baptist Church, 950 Whipple Road, Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends prior to service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Unity Baptist Church Renovation Project, 950 Whipple Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 or American Cancer Society, 269 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
