Charles Brooklyn Peeler Jr

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Brooklyn Peeler Jr.,70 of Goose Creek, South
Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Born on August 26, 1952 in Kosciusko, MS,
he was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. 

Charles wanted to be remembered as a man who loved his family and was always there for
them. We believe that everyone who knew him can attest to the fact that he fulfilled this goal.
His family never questioned his love, and they always knew that he would be there for them at
any time. He was known as a dependable, kind, understanding, loving, and an all-around good
man. 

Charles is preceded in death by his father, Charles Brooklyn Peeler Sr., his mother, Charlene
Veasy Peeler-Crossley, and his stepfather, Clarence Crossley.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Bella Peeler; his four children, Elizabeth (Paul) Pallagi,
Audra Peeler, William Austin Peeler, and Miriam Peeler; his two grandsons, Paul Pallagi IV and
Sullivan Charles Pallagi; his sister Darlene (Tony) Eiland; his nieces Jennifer (Sean) Bruntlett
and Jessica (Trent) Hughes, as well as 5 great nephews and 2 great nieces; his step-children
Jimbo Dooley, David (Danielle) Dooley, and Angela (Todd) Marklin, as well as 6 step-
grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at McAlister-
Smith Funeral & Cremation, 869 St. James Ave in Goose Creek, SC 29445.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel at
Seacoast Church, 750 Long Point Road in Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.

The family will be traveling to Mississippi to lay Charles to rest beside his parents at Liberty
Chapel Cemetery in Kosciusko, MS.
