Cecil W. Pulley, 75, of Goose Creek, passed away February 21, 2016. Born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, he was the son of the late Henry and Hazel Pulley and husband to Margaret White Pulley. After high school, Cecil joined the United States Navy, serving his country for fifteen years. Following his military service he began his career at Alcoa, retiring as an Electrical Maintenance General Supervisor in 2003 after twenty four years. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, autocross, model airplanes, fishing, camping and loved spending time with his family. Cecil is survived by his wife, Margaret Pulley; children, Randy Pulley and wife Susan of Goose Creek, Cheryl Holseberg and husband Hutch of Holly Hill, Jimmy Pulley and wife Rene of Pawley’s Island and Steven Pulley of Ladson; brother Henry Pulley of Roanoke Rapids, NC; sister, Ina Rhew of Cary, NC. He is also survived by his grandchildren Hutch Holseberg and Kaitlyn Cleary, Christine Pulley, Ashley and Stephen Brown, Niki and Steven O’Connell, Zack Holseberg, Jennifer Pulley, Dani Pulley, Jami Pulley, Kyle Pulley, and Shawn Pulley; and great grandchildren Liam, Reagan, and Paxton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow with military honors in Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner.
