Catherine M. Haley

Today we celebrate the life of Catherine V. McMahon Haley who was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 14, 2023. Cathy was born on November 15, 1951, the youngest of four daughters to the late William P. and Dorothy B. McMahon.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Timothy A. Haley; son, Steven A Brandenburg (Tonya); sisters, Theresa M. Blacklock and Angela M. Drolet. Cathy was the proud grandmother to Alyssa, Caroline, Elizabeth, Caleb Brandenburg and Emily Burnsed Knight and nephew Shea Drolet (Joann). She was the great grandmother of Everleigh G. Knight and was honored to know that she had a new great grand baby on the way.

Cathy was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Wendy M. Burnsed; son, Mark D. Brandenburg and her oldest sister, Patsey Miller.

Her happiest times were caring for her mother, her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loathed her long-term illness, preventing her from spending more quality time with family and friends.

Cathy will be missed greatly....... Heaven's gain is our loss! 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 5-7PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral-Cremation, Goose Creek.  A service will follow at 7PM.
