Carlene Patricia Foster

Carlene Patricia Foster, 69, of Goose Creek, SC passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. 

Born on October 25, 1954 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Florence McCrea Williams and the late John Williams. 

She generally spent most of her life as a homemaker, but did work at the Hudson County unemployment office in her early 20's.  She was also a manager at a Hess Gas Station in the early to mid 80's.  She worked as a secretary for a paper supply company in Edison, NJ for a short period of time.

Carlene is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Foster; her parents; her brothers, Lawrence Williams and John Williams; her sister, Cindy Catherine Williams; and her niece, Chelsea Foster. 

Carlene is survived by her son, Thomas Foster; her daughter, Michelle Foster; her brother, Brian Williams; her seven grandchildren, Ashley Foster (NJ), Elise Foster (NJ), Josey Foster (FL), Madison Foster (SC), Thomas J Foster (SC), Colton Jeansonne (SC), and Glen P Jeansonne, III (SC); and her nieces and nephews, Deanna Apadula (NJ), Jennifer Elizabeth (Jason Rocheny) (GA), Matthew Foster (Michelle) (NJ), Christopher Foster (NJ), Jeremy Ippolito (NJ), Brian Scott Williams (NJ), Kary Williams (David) (NJ), Christopher Williams (NJ), Jessica Williams (NJ), David Williams (NJ), Sean Foster (NY), and Meghan Foster (NJ). 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445. 

The service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 3:00PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445. 

The burial will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 1:00PM at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St., Beaufort, SC 29902. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
