Carl Lee Rhoades

Carl Lee Rhoades, 57, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014. Born on September 13, 1957, he was the son of Jess Rhoades and the late Bonnie Harvey Rhoades. Carl enjoyed being outside working in his yard, fishing, walking and sports. He loved his Boeing family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Carl was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was very dedicated to his family. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father and son. Along with his mother, Carl is preceded in death by his stepmother, Cloma Rhoades. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Mary Green Rhoades of Goose Creek, SC; three children: Billie Jo Uron of Buffalo Mills, PA; Elizabeth Colyer of Goose Creek, SC; and Danny Colyer, Jr., of Goose Creek, SC; five grandchildren: his father, Jess Rhoades of Goose Creek, SC; one sister, Becky Paynter of Columbus, OH; one brother, Rick Rhoades of Zanesville, OH; three half sisters: Carla, Jenny and Rose of OH; and three half brothers: Mike, Dave and Tommy of OH. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 11:00AM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel.
