Carl Allan Hudson

Carl Allan Hudson, 56, of Goose Creek, SC passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. 

Born on February 9, 1968, in Hamlet, NC, he was the son of Fred Hudson and the late Shirley Williard Hudson. 

Carl had a career in banking and was a people person.  He was very compassionate toward everyone.  He loved his animals and had plenty throughout the years.  He had a passion for plants and landscaping and could keep anything alive.  His pride and joy was his koi pond that he built and designed.  He loved making many road trips with Steve.

Carl is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Williard Hudson. 

Carl is survived by his life partner, Richard (Steve) Grooms; his father, Fred Hudson of Rockingham, NC; his brothers, Ray Hudson (Terri) of Hubert, NC, Bobby Hudson (Jack) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Marvin Hudson (Rachel) of Rockingham, NC; many nieces and nephews; and a very dear and special friend, Julia Kelly of Mt. Pleasant, SC. 

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 1:00PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Chapel, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445.
