Caleb Gage Mitchell, 20 of Summerville, SC, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022.
Born on September 15, 2001 in Jacksonville, FL, he was a son of Linda Giles Mitchell and Keith Mitchell.
Caleb graduated from Cane Bay High School in 2020. Through Caleb's elementary years, he performed in school functions, such as the Patronis Elementary School Talent Show and a fundraising event called Arts Alive, in Bay County, FL.
He enjoyed so many things in life, such as traveling, cooking, exotic cars, the beach, various sports, working out, and most importantly spending time with his family and friends. Even though he exuded this larger-than-life male bravado, those who knew Caleb can attest to the loving, kind spirit he had. He was always the protector of his friends and family and feared nothing. Caleb aspired to attend FSU, to pursue a business degree and become a real estate investor. After his plans, to travel the world.
Caleb is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Joan Mitchell; his aunt, Jaime Estes; great aunt and uncle, Catherine and Don Doyle and cousin, Jennifer Estes.
Caleb is survived by his parents, Keith Mitchell and Linda Mitchell; siblings: Kyle, Carson, and Colton Mitchell; nephew, Mayer Mitchell; his grandmother, Shirley Giles, as well as Jimmie, Jacob and Ryan Giles, Cindy Senn, Karen Younger, Jeri Osuna, Charles Mitchell, Tina Mitchell and several cousins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek.
The service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Wassamassaw Baptist Church, 704 Wassamassaw Ln, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. The burial will be held at Plantation Memorial Gardens 2847 S Live Oak Dr, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Food will be served after interment at Wassamassaw Baptist Church.
