Brittany Townsend

Brittany Jean Townsend, 37, of Goose Creek, SC passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

Born on January 29, 1987 in Osceola County, FL, she was the daughter of Deborah Gaetano and David Townsend.

Brittany was a United States Army Veteran who served her country. She was funny at times. She loved cars and she loved working on them. She loved her daughter, Bella Mckinley, so very much. Brittany had it rough after leaving the Army due to PTSD and was getting help with it. She was doing so good when she moved to South Carolina and she was happy to be close to her family. She was excited to begin a new chapter in her life. 

Brittany is survived by her parents; her daughter, Bella Mckinley; her brothers, Patrick German, Anthony Townsend, and Corby Townsend; her sisters, Naomi Townsend and Kayla Townsend; her grandmother, Barbara Mayo; her aunts, Donna Mclean and Samantha Hold; her uncles, Dean Gaetano, Mark Anderson, Dominic Gaetano, and James Hold; and her cousins, Sabella Edwards, Tanner Edwards, and several more.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 1PM at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St. Beaufort, SC.
