Bridget "Bridie" Dunleavy Goff

Bridget "Bridie" Dunleavy Goff, 77, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.
She was born on July 6, 1941 in Greenock, Scotland, daughter of the late Ellen McCormick and Gregory McCaffery.
Bridget was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Courtney Goff;daughter-in-law, Melinda Goff; and sister, Sadie McCaffery.
She was married to her great love, US Navy Veteran, Brendan Goff, Sr. for 53 years. Theirs was a great love of faith, commitment and honor.
She is survived by her husband, Brendan Goff of Goose Creek, SC; children: John Goff (Monica), Sylvia Budzinski (Fred), Brendan Goff and Robert Goff (Angel); grandchildren: Tiffany DuBose (Andy), Brendan Budzinski (Alishia), Heather Goff, Kristina Brooks (Chris), Pamela Goff, Melissa Budzinski, and Sara Zwinge (Shane); brother, Edward McCaffery (Letty) of Greenock, Scotland, 14 great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bridget enjoyed playing bingo, camping and boating. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending any free time with them.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Burial will follow after the service at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
