Bret Mitchell Cooper

Bret Mitchell Cooper , 24, of Isle of Palms, SC passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He was born on Tuesday, September 19, 1989 in Charleston, SC to Dr. Ronald B. Cooper and the late Dr. Katherine Momeier. Bret was a student at Trident Academy and graduated from Charleston Collegiate and received his Bachelors degree from the University of Colorado. He was pursing his commercial pilot license while working as a flight instructor for Coastal Aviation. His family remembers him as a loving and caring person. He is survived by his Father, Dr. Ronald Cooper, and his wife Shelley of the Isle Of Palms, SC; one brother, Grant Cooper of Los Angeles, CA; Aunts and Uncles, Norman and Kay Cooper of Williamsburg, VA; Tommy and Linda Momeier of Augusta, GA; his girlfriend, Noelle Ward of Mt. Pleasant, SC. The family is planning a Celebration of His Life on Sunday, June 29, 201, at 10:00am on Sullivan's Island at the ‘mound’ …the park at Sullivan's by the fire station. . A private family burial will be held at the Bethany Cemetery cemetery.
