Brenda Ann Brutsch

Brenda Ann Brutsch, of England, died on Sunday, February 15, 2015 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on Saturday, August 20, 1927 in England, to the late Mrs. Gertrude Halliday and the late Mr. James Fleetwood. Brenda was a nurse during WWII with the British Military. She devoted much of her life to the rescue and care of animals. Her family remembers her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by one daughter, Sarah Perdue (Tom), of Seal Beach, CA; two sons, Howard W. Brutsch (Charlotte), and Henry David Brutsch, both of Sumter, SC; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Howard C. Brutsch, of 53 years, her parents, her beloved brother John Fleetwood, her daughter, Frankie Lynn Brutsch and her cherished “Mr. Harry”. A Memorial Service will be held at The Church of the Holy Cross on Daniel Island, SC on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Frank B. Sanders officiating.
