Braden Edward (Brady) Lee

Braden Edward (Brady) Lee, 16, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Brady was a force of life—literally. Ushered in on May the 4, 2007 he was a funny, sweet, and kind soul. Brady loved baseball from an early age and also loved cheering on his Clemson Tigers (in a house divided!) and the Pittsburgh Steelers straight from his mom’s hometown. Brady loved people and would often be found right in the middle of family fun or playing ball, spending time fishing at the neighborhood dock, or out and about with his friends.  Never too far away was his little brother, and best friend, Dylan, and his dog Boomer. Some of Brady’s hobbies included traveling, working on cars, attending car meets with friends, and snacking—especially on ramen noodles, frozen fruit, and McDonald’s. Brady was looking forward to serving as a Junior Counselor later this summer at Camp Rise Above.

Brady is survived by his loving parents Kevin and Kristen (Rennie) Lee of Mount Pleasant, brother Dylan Lee, paternal grandparents Ed and Linda Lee of James Island, maternal grandparents Woody and Regi Rennie of Mount Pleasant. Brady is the nephew of Brian and Cindy Graack and KC and Liz Rennie. Cousin of Leanna, Christopher, Callum, and Ruthie. He is also survived by many great aunts, great uncles, second cousins, and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Seacoast Church Chapel, 750 Long Point Rd., Mount Pleasant, SC. Pastor Joel Delph will officate. Services will be live streamed -   Please park and enter the chapel in the 6 South lot. The service will be streamed online for any who would like to attend virtually: https://seacoastevents.online.church/ .  Interment will be immediately following the funeral service at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Rd., Mount Pleasant, SC.
