Brad Norvell

Bradley Edward Norvell, 56, of North Charleston, SC passed away on April 6, 2025.

Born on October 29, 1968 in Orange, NJ. Brad grew up in Dallas, Texas and was a 1987 graduate of Richardson High School. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Brad was a police officer, heavy metal rock band lover, and enjoyed time with his many friends and family. He made lasting friendships in every chapter of his life.

Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Maureen Norvell. He is survived by his children, Jacob Knapp, Josephine (Kyle) Gill, and Camden Norvell; grandchildren, Blakely and Dallas Gill; his father and stepmother, Merrill and Martha Norvell; siblings, Renee (Scott) McCown and Jacob (Stephanie) Norvell; stepchildren, Jacquelyn Jordan, Taylor and Victoria Knapp, Christian Weas and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, in Goose Creek. We want to celebrate Brad’s life and everything that he meant to us.
