Bobby Steve Hagan

Bobby Steve Hagan, 71, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on March 19, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Born on December 16, 1950, in Charleston, SC, Bobby was the son of the late Wilbur and Eula Lee Ray Hagan.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Greene; sister, Joan Marie Hagan of Charleston; stepchildren, Brian Burbage, Kim Burbage, and Alison Frasier; great-nephews, Taylor Allen Engle of Georgia and Jarad Matthew Craven of Florida.
Bobby attended school in downtown Charleston and on James Island. He graduated from James Island High School in 1969 and attended the University of South Carolina. He served in the United States Army and was a graduate of the United States Military Academy Prep School in Fort Belvoir, VA in 1972 and graduated from the College of Charleston in 1977. He was a retired accountant.
Bobby loved his Carolina sports teams following baseball, basketball, and football. He served as the American Legion Baseball Commissioner for the Charleston area. He was a member of the VFW Post 445 and the American Legion Post 147.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Matthew Wilbur Hagan and Donald Ray Hagan, sister, Bea Howard Craven, nephew Donald Roy Craven, Jr., and a stepson, Douglas A. Burbage.
The family will receive friends and family, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412. The Honor Guard from the VFW will be providing military honors at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bobby`s memory may be sent to the College of Charleston Foundation, Donald Ray Hagan Scholarship Fund, 66 George Street, Charleston, SC 29242 or VFW Post 445, 1639 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412 or American Legion Post 147, 968 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
