Billy Ray Stuckey, 78, of Hanahan, died February 26, 2015. Born in Monroe, NC, he was the son of the late Ex Ray and Betty Kennedy Stuckey and husband to Patricia Ann Stuckey. Mr. Stuckey attended North Carolina State University. He was in the United States Air Force Reserves and retired from Delta Airlines. Bill is a member of Stallsville United Methodist Church for over thirty years, where he is involved with the Men’s Club, John Wesley Sunday School and Youth Assistant for many years. He was also a member of Berkeley Shag Club. Mr. Stuckey enjoyed flying, fishing, hunting, shagging and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Stuckey; two sons, Scott Ray Stuckey and wife Ashley of Hanahan and Christopher Merrick Stuckey and wife Wendi of Gastonia, NC; daughter, Julie Dianne McDonald and husband Gary of Fayettville, NC; sister, Suzette Griffin of Mt. Ulla, NC; grandchildren, Jade Nicole Stuckey, Gary Brannon McDonald and wife Britni, Taylor Leigh McDonald, Abbey Merrick Stuckey, Ashley Jordan McDonald, Christie Dianne Stuckey, Alexandria Cooper Stuckey and Jackson Ray Stuckey; great grandson Gary Brantlee McDonald. Bill was predeceased by his parents, sister, Anthea Aldridge, brother, Johnny Stuckey. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Stallsville United Methodist Church, 255 Stallsville Road, Summerville.
