Betty Jean Holmes

Betty J Holmes, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, a Medical Clerk, passed away on July 18, 2019.
She was born on October 3, 1934 in Lillington, North Carolina, daughter of Ruth Wilder and James Wilburn.
Betty was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters; her parents.
She is survived by her two children: Donald Michael and Barbara Jean of Houston, TX; four grand children and 4 great-grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed working with the seniors, reading, crafts and volunteering.
The family will receive friends on July 27, 2019 from 8:00am to 9:00am at McAlister-Smith, 347 Folly Rd., James Island, SC 29412.
A memorial service will be held at 9:00AM to 10:00AM on July 27, 2019 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, James Island, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
