Bentley Christopher Jace McLeod, of Summerville, SC, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. He was born on Monday, October 5, 2015, in Charleston, SC, to Shannon Berger and Christopher McLeod. Though Bentley was only on this earth for a short while, he touched many lives. Bentley was so amazing. God blessed us with the most precious, sweetest and silly baby we could have ever asked for. He was so innocent. Even though Bentley was taken home too soon, we all created such a strong bond with him. There are so many great memories each of us will hold on to and never forget. He will never be forgotten, but always will be remembered. Bentley is preceded in death by his grandfather Daniel Franklin Berger, great grandmother Jane Hood Rambo, great grandfather Francis G Berger; maternal great grandfather Maurice Bruce Rambo, great grandfather Harry Arthur McLeod and Aunt Sarah (bunny) Adams. Bentley is survived by his parents, Shannon Berger and Christopher McLeod of Summerville, SC. Grandmother Sharon Rambo Berger, and step grandfather Mark Emilsidney Day from Charleston SC. Paternal grandmother Kimberly Hinson and step grandfather Christopher Hinson, grandfather Timothy McLeod, and step grandmother Stephanie McLeod, from the Charleston area; his maternal great grandmother Lula Varner Berger and his paternal Great grandmother Barbara Keller McLeod (nana). Bentley’s two half -brothers, Daniel Justin Maurice Stanley and Aidan Marcus McLeod. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins: Mackenzleigh Elise Hinson, Christopher James Hinson Jr, Dawson Ryan Hinson, Christian Glenn McLeod, and Connor Alan McLeod, Camden Chase Day, great uncle Maurice Bruce Rambo Jr, great aunt Julie Rambo, great uncle David Franklin Berger, great aunt Laurie Rambo, great aunt Diane Berger. Paternal great aunt and uncle Todd and Jennifer McLeod, and great aunts Angel Savering, Jackie Dobson, Michelle Adams, great cousins Mason Bentley Rambo, Sean McPherson, Amber Nicole, Jalynn Connelly. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November the 9, 2015, at 3:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel, officiated by Pastor LaVaughn Young.
