Belen Vitug Padilla, 80, of Goose Creek, died January 23, 2016. Born in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Ignacio and Leocadia Vitug and wife of Epifanio Padilla. Belen worked as a seamstress at the Navy Exchange in Goose Creek for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Filipino American Association. Mrs. Padilla is survived by her husband, Epifanio Padilla of Goose Creek; daughters, Lorna Padilla Caldwell and husband Timothy of Columbia, MD and May Padilla Warren and husband Walter of Pawley’s Island; granddaughters, Kristen Warren and Allyson Warren. She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and many extended family members and friends. Belen is predeceased by her parents and siblings, Teofista Lorenzo, Beatrixe Garcia, Virginia Vitug, Carnelio Vitug and Lourdes Vitug.
