Barbara Scott McKamey (Scott)

Barbara Scott McKamey, 90, of Mount Pleasant died peacefully in her home on Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Barbara was born October 25, 1924 in Springfield, SC to the late Mr & Mrs Raymond and Willa (Fulmer) Scott. She was a retired bookkeeper from Citizens & Southern National Bank after 35 years. Barbara was the widow of George F. McKamey. She is survived by and deeply missed by her family including her daughters, Willette McKamey and Jo Wenger, both of Mt Pleasant, grandson, David F. Wenger (Kate) of Mt Pleasant, 6 great grandchildren including; Aubrey, Joseph, Adam, Jimmy, John Geary, and Jude, one sister, Jo Scott Pyron of Greenville, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Barbara was predeceased by her loving grandson, Adam McKamey Wenger. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service, 6:30PM, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Mt Pleasant Chapel, 1520 Rifle Range Rd., Mt Pleasant, with a reception to follow at funeral home.
