Barbara June Richard

Barbara June Richard of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Barbra was born on October 29, 1939 in Kennett, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Erwin Nowlin and Ethel Nowlin (Miner).

Barbara is survived by her husband William Richard; her sons Lonnie Richard (Debbie) and John Richard (Sonya); her two grandsons, Allen Humbert and Alex Richard; and her three granddaughters, Megan Richard, Kaitlyn Richard Johnson (Chris), and Shannon Richard.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She and Bill were happily married for 65 years. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in St. Louis, Missouri in 1957. Barbara was a wonderful role model, spending considerable time volunteering at schools and her church. She always showed up for her family. She never missed her sons' baseball games, and she supported her grandchildren in all of their endeavors. Barbra was a shining example on what it means to love unconditionally with your whole heart.

On Thursday, September 28, 2023, the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, and the service in memory of Barbra will be held at 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
