Barbara Ann Johnson

Barbara Ann Johnson, 82, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at her home in North Charleston, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born Barbara Ann Hubbard on September 19, 1942, at Folly Beach, South Carolina, she was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all.

She was a graduate of Trident Technical College, and worked at a variety of aerospace companies notably Avco Lycoming as a quality assurance inspector during the Vietnam War Era.

Barbara was also an avid fisherwoman and gardener in her day. She spent many days with her father Bob Hubbard Sr., fishing the waters of Morris Island and Folly Beach.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, William; her three children: Catherine, Kate, and Adrian; her five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and her brother, Robert.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date. The family kindly requests donations to Barbara's favorite charity St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor

Barbara's fun demeanor, humor and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
